Overall for the last two weeks from March 30, 2012 – April 12, 2012, the Lebanon Police Department performed 1,147 calls for service, 13 sex offender registrations, 234 motor vehicle stops and made 43 arrests.  The dispatch center handled 1,334 total calls for service.

 

Some highlights include:

 

The Detective Division is working on a case where a large package of drugs was shipped to the Upper Valley area through a postal company in Lebanon.  

 

Some highlights from the 43 arrests:
 
April 5, 2012

 

  • A male was arrested on an electronic bench warrant for non-payment of fines. 
  • A male was arrested on a bench warrant for non-appearance in Court. 
  • Patrol Officers assisted Detectives on a follow-up and arrested a male for controlled drug acts and later arrested a male for controlled drug acts and criminal trespass.  

April 11, 2012

 

  • On Wednesday, April 11, 2012 the Lebanon Police arrested a 32-year-old Lebanon mother for second degree assault for striking her 8-year-old son with a closed fist causing bruising to his forehead.  She was held overnight on $2,500 cash bail. She appeared before Judge Thomas Rappa of the Plymouth District Court and released on $25,000 personal recognizance bail and a condition she have no contact with her son. A probable cause hearing is scheduled for April 20, 2012. 

April 13, 2012

 

  • Officers investigated a domestic assault and arrested a female on an electronic bench warrant for non-appearance in court and a male was arrested for simple assault and obstructing the report of a crime. 
  • A female was arrested on a warrant for theft and breach of bail. 
  • A male was arrested on a bench warrant for non-appearance in Court.

April 14, 2012

 

  • A suspicious person call resulted in a male being arrested for possession of a controlled drug. 
  • A female was arrested on a warrant for controlled drug acts and possession of drugs in a motor vehicle. 
  • A male was arrested on a warrant for disorderly conduct.

April 15, 2012

 

  • Officers responded to a domestic assault and arrested a male for simple assault, criminal mischief, theft and second degree assault. 
  • Officers investigated a domestic past and arrested a male for simple assault and false imprisonment.
