Overall for the last two weeks
from April 26, 2013 – May 9, 2013, the Lebanon Police Department performed 1,348
calls for service, 11 sex offender registrations, 285 motor vehicle stops and
made 42 arrests. The dispatch center handled 1,538 total calls for
service.
Some highlights:
April 26, 2013
- Officers
participated in the Hanover Street School “Walk to School” event.
Officers walked the elementary aged students to school from Colburn
Park. The event is to promote health and to learn good pedestrian
safety.
May 03, 2013
- A
subject was arrested on a warrant for two (2) counts of first degree
assault.
- A
subject was arrested on an electronic bench warrant for non-payment of
fines.
May 04, 2013
- During
a motor vehicle stop the driver was arrested for minor transporting
alcohol.
- Officers
responded to a 911 ambulance call and took a subject into protective
custody for mental health.
- A
noise complaint led to multiple arrests; a male was arrested for
controlled drug acts (marijuana), a second was arrested for unlawful
possession of alcohol and a third was arrested for controlled drug acts (marijuana)
and unlawful possession of alcohol.
- Officers
participated in a Lebanon Middle School Lock-In at the CCBA with
approximately fifty 5th and 6th graders.
May 06, 2013
- A
911 call for a domestic in progress resulted in a subject being arrested
for simple assault.
- A
theft at a local business resulted in a subject being arrested for theft;
shoplifting.
- A
subject was arrested on a warrant for criminal trespass and simple
assault.
May 10, 2013
- A
suspicious motor vehicle resulted in a female being arrested for
controlled drug acts (methadone).
- Officers
arrested two males at a residence on the charge of possession of a
controlled drug (crack, heroin and Percocet).
- A
subject was arrested on an electronic bench warrant for non-appearance in
court.
- A
Lebanon man was arrested for possession of heroin with intent to
distribute after a search warrant was executed and 180 bags of heroin were
found with a street value of around $3,500. He was released on bail.
